Discover JCCM

The Junior Chamber of Commerce of Montreal (JCCM) is a group of young executives, professionals, entrepreneurs and self-employed workers aged between 18 to 40 years old. It has nearly 1600 members and about 150 volunteers, making it one of the largest networks of young business people in the world. 

Through a wide variety of events each year, the JCCM is a must for the development of the next generation of business people in Montreal. 

The JCCM has the support of its four major partners, which are BMO Financial Group, Bell, Gaz Métro and the City of Montreal. 

The Board of Directors of the JCCM annually elects a new president to enable emerging business leaders to develop their skills to stand out in Montreal’s business community.

Membership

Depending on your status, the annual membership costs as follow:

  • Individual membership: $150 CAD + tx.
  • Student : $70 CAD + tx.

Corporate membership

Businesses can enjoy a corporate discount when they buy more than 3 memberships for its employees:

  • 3 - 10 memberships: $120 CAD + tx.
  • 11 - 20 memberships: $95 CAD + tx.
  • 21 memberships and more : $85 CAD + tx.

The membership lasts 1 full year. Renewal are not automatic.

History

The JCCM was founded on October 28th, 1931 by a few business people and a group of young students attending HEC Montreal. Several prominent figures have shaped its history since and these include Maurice Trudeau, Daniel Johnson and Dominique Anglade. The JCCM was the first chamber of commerce to open its doors to women in 1956, and today, the chamber enjoys a truley rich and diversified membership.
