About JCCM

The JCCM's mission is to develop, represent and promote the next generation of business leaders. Founded in 1931, it now boasts nearly 2,000 members, agé‧e‧s aged 18 to 40, including 150 volunteers, making it the largest young chamber in the world. Thanks to a multitude of events organized each year, the JCCM is a key venue for the development of Montreal's next generation of business leaders. What's more, the JCCM relies on invaluable funding from the Quebec government, as well as the support of major partners who have the next generation at heart: Bell, CN, the City of Montreal and Fondaction.

About the Board of Directors and its role

The Board of Directors manages and administers the assets and affairs of the JCCM. It oversees the development and sound management of the JCCM in the interests of its members.

A Nominating Committee, made up of members of the JCCM Board of Directors, evaluates and selects candidates based on, among other things, skills, diversity of backgrounds and perspectives, and desired representation on the Board.

The JCCM is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment that respects people of all cultures, backgrounds and abilities, and to fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging. As such, we actively encourage applications from all backgrounds regardless of: color, sex, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, political beliefs, language, ethnic or national origin, social condition, disability or the use of a means to palliate that disability, education and professional background.
