Every year, the JCCM relies on the commitment of 120 to 150 dynamic volunteers! To match their interests and skills, volunteers have the opportunity to work on various committees specific to the events or topics they represent. It's thanks to the analytical spirit and fresh ideas of our volunteers that the JCCM organizes some of Montreal's biggest events every year. By becoming a volunteer, you'll have the chance to develop your project or team management skills, expand your professional network and improve your leadership qualities!
The mission of the Public Affairs Committee is to contribute to issues related to the JCCM's 5 priorities, and to government representation activities (Rencontres Action Jeunesse, meetings with public office holders, budget filings, etc.).
The mission of the Content and Programming Committee is to contribute to the ideation and deployment of the JCCM's annual programming. The volunteers on this committee ensure that content remains consistent throughout the season, and that activities are organized around the JCCM's five priorities.
The Events Committee is responsible for enhancing the JCCM event experience, thinking innovatively and offering unique experiences through event activations and solutions. All this with a particular focus on adopting eco-responsible practices for all JCCM activities.
The role of the Member Experience and Commitment Committee is to promote the JCCM, its mission and activities. To this end, the committee members implement tools for prospecting, integrating and retaining JCCM members in order to optimize their experience and contribute to their outreach. A great team of networking experts to answer all your questions about the JCCM.
The Creative Marketing Committee aims to amplify the messages and priorities of the JCCM and its members, through the promotion and outreach of its initiatives and activities. Divided into two components, editorial and audiovisual, the committee is responsible for highlighting JCCM members, while creating content for the organization's various digital platforms.
The JCCM's volunteer Strategy Committee plays a crucial role alongside executive management in guiding and shaping the organization's vision. The committee works closely with management to develop innovative strategies aimed at stimulating the professional development of Montreal's business community. By sharing their skills, ideas and expertise, the committee's volunteers actively contribute to the JCCM's success, making the organization a key player in the Quebec metropolis' business community.
As a volunteer, you are part of our bank of volunteer contacts in case of specific needs during the year. With nearly 80 events a year, volunteer support is crucial. That's why, as a volunteer, we'll be inclined to contact you during the season for one-off needs.
By completing the questionnaire below, you will automatically be added to our database of volunteer candidates. Subsequently, depending on the needs expressed by the various committees in terms of skills and expertise, volunteer candidates will receive an invitation to join one of our many projects. Of course, your interests and availability will be taken into account, so that we can offer you the best possible volunteer experience!
