Every year, the JCCM relies on the commitment of 120 to 150 dynamic volunteers! To match their interests and skills, volunteers have the opportunity to work on various committees specific to the events or topics they represent. It's thanks to the analytical spirit and fresh ideas of our volunteers that the JCCM organizes some of Montreal's biggest events every year. By becoming a volunteer, you'll have the chance to develop your project or team management skills, expand your professional network and improve your leadership qualities!
Early in my career, I was a member of the JCCM, a committed volunteer and eventually vice-president of the executive committee. This involvement had a positive impact on my career and the development of my network. By organizing events and working on committees, I forged strong ties that continue to this day! Getting involved with the JCCM can be a truly memorable and fun experience!

The mission of the Public Affairs Committee is to contribute to issues related to the JCCM's five priorities. This committee supports the JCCM in its positioning on government issues of interest to the organization, and on media operations.
The mission of the Ideation and Content Committee is to develop and deploy dynamic and relevant annual programming, focusing on the JCCM's five priorities. This committee aims to be both a tool and an agile response to our members' needs. Its vision is to provide innovative and inspiring programming that supports members' ambitions and needs, while respecting the JCCM's strategic priorities.
The mission of the JCCM's Impact Accelerator Committee is to provide ongoing support to help program participants develop their full potential. The committee is committed to building skills, fostering networking and supporting the growth of Montreal's next generation of business leaders through innovative programs. The committee ensures that program participants have a positive and rewarding experience, offering them all the support they need to maximize their participation.
The mission of the Member Experience and Engagement Committee is to actively promote the JCCM, its mission and activities. Committee members deploy strategic prospecting, integration and loyalty tools to optimize the member experience and enhance visibility. The committee aims to enrich the member experience not only through traditional interactions but also through innovative digital initiatives, thereby strengthening engagement and knowledge sharing within the JCCM community.
The mission of the Creative Marketing Committee is to amplify the messages and priorities of the JCCM and its members through the promotion and outreach of their initiatives and activities. Divided into two components, editorial and audiovisual, the committee is committed to highlighting JCCM members by developing concepts for interviews, articles and strategic portraits.
The Strategy and Innovation Committee plays an essential role in partnering with senior management to guide and shape the organization's strategic vision. Working closely with management, this committee develops innovative strategies to stimulate the professional development of the Montreal business community. Thanks to their skills, ideas and expertise, committee volunteers actively contribute to positioning the JCCM as a key leader in the Montreal business community.
As a volunteer, you are part of our bank of volunteer contacts in case of specific needs during the year. With nearly 80 events a year, volunteer support is crucial. That's why, as a volunteer, we'll be inclined to contact you during the season for one-off needs.
By completing the questionnaire below, you will automatically be added to our database of volunteer candidates. Subsequently, depending on the needs expressed by the various committees in terms of skills and expertise, volunteer candidates will receive an invitation to join one of our many projects. Of course, your interests and availability will be taken into account, so that we can offer you the best possible volunteer experience!
Every year, our volunteer team is recruited during the summer, so that we can start the season in September! Stay tuned during the summer to find out about available mandates.
