Propelled by the JCCM and co-created with Fondaction in 2022, the new Génération d'impact program has proven its worth and made a concrete contribution to the creation of new impact practices within Quebec organizations.
Throughout their journey, participants benefit from privileged access to a number of influential figures from the worlds of business, the environment and social inclusion, and the program offers these impact intrapreneurs the opportunity to follow a co-development program to implement new practices within the organizations that employ them.
For program participants, Generation Impact is a unique opportunity to develop their impact leadership skills, network with specialists in the field and share positive initiatives with a change-generating community. The program is aimed at young intrapreneurs, aged between 18 and 40, who are committed to their work environment. They may be employees (with at least 5 years' experience), professionals, middle managers or supervisors.
By equipping the next generation of business leaders with a better understanding of socio-ecological issues and the courses of action available to them, we can more rapidly transform today's practices and build tomorrow's economy.
What's more, by investing in the skills development of their committed intrapreneurs, organizations foster a work environment conducive to innovation and the adoption of sustainable practices. Participants‧e‧s will have to carry out a concrete impact project that will have positive repercussions within the structure. The program includes over 20 hours of panels, workshops and discussion groups, enabling participants to develop their skills and prepare their impact project in the best possible conditions.
The program's support represents more than 8 hours of mentoring and more than 2 hours of coaching by HEC Montréal's Pôle IDEOS.
Participating intrapreneurs are challenged to develop an impact challenge within their organization, linked to a new sustainable and inclusive business practice. In all, they will have six moments to share the pitfalls and successes they have encountered, building on co-development and collective intelligence.
The program includes the publication of a portrait article in Les Affaires newspaper, presenting each intrapreneur and his or her impact challenge.
What's more, by taking part in the program, intrapreneurs automatically enter the race to win the ARISTA provincial competition's Generation of Impact award, which congratulates the participant who has distinguished himself or herself throughout the year by the impact of his or her initiative.Participating in the program also means access to the many activities offered by the JCCM included in the JCCM+ subscription, to the various events organized by JCCM partners (Climate Summit, One Young World, CORIM and many others), as well as privileged access to participate in international delegations organized by the JCCM.
