In this live episode from the Grande rencontre de la relève d'affaires de Montréal (GRRAM 2025), Lia Ferranti (volunteer on the ideation and programming committee) explores the entrepreneurial journey of Dupré Latour, a trans woman from West Africa and founder of the cosmetics brand DupréLatour Cosmetics.

The interview traces her cultural journey, the challenges of adapting to a new business ecosystem, and how her personal experience led her to create an inclusive brand to fill a void in the cosmetics industry.

The episode touches on themes of mixed cultural identity, concrete inclusion, and rebuilding a sense of community through entrepreneurship. The discussion also looks at the activist dimension of her project, and concludes with advice for the next generation of diversity entrepreneurs, particularly on issues of legitimacy and self-confidence.
