Many paths, one goal: successfully including talent from elsewhere

In this third episode of the Hors-série, Sébastien Vachon, co-director of the ideation and programming committee at the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal, welcomes Caroline Roche (founder of Tierko) and Tina Pranjic (co-founder of Élance), two entrepreneurs determined to create more inclusive workplaces, to discuss fair recruitment and inclusive organizational cultures.

In the course of the discussion, Caroline reveals a little-known bit about her immigration journey and the resources available to her when she arrived in Quebec five years ago. Together, our two passionate guests discuss the various angles to be avoided and others to be taken in order to create sufficient space for people with an immigrant background or from any other under-represented community.

A sharing of experiences and tips to inspire organizations and individuals to create work environments where everyone can flourish.

“Inclusion, first of all, is for everyone [...] it's not a question of them versus us versus XY group or sub-group. Basically, it's for everyone. And the objective of inclusion is one, to welcome the difference or any person in our environments, but also to mobilize them, to ensure active participation and advancement in the workplace.” Par

Tina Pranjic, fondatrice de Élance
