Meet Kanica, an inspiring entrepreneur on a mission to revolutionize the field of sexology in the modern era. Hailing from Cambodia, Kanica has led a life filled with diverse experiences and overcoming challenges, all of which have guided her on an extraordinary journey.

Even before embarking on her college career, Kanica had enlisted in the army at the age of 16, all while concurrently pursuing her college studies. This dual commitment had a profound impact on her entrepreneurial values, ingraining in her an unwavering work ethic, stringent discipline, and remarkable perseverance, which have since become the cornerstones of her business.

Fueled by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, Kanica returned to university following her military service. It was during this period that she made a life-changing discovery: sexology. What initially seemed like a casual choice turned out to be a profound revelation. For Kanica, earthly harmony finds its roots in the bedroom, as she firmly believes that relationships lie at the core of personal fulfillment.

A pioneer in sexology

Following her graduation, Kanica swiftly recognized that traditional sex therapists did not accurately reflect the diversity of her generation. Confronted with this realization, she opted to launch her own private therapy practice. Despite the persisting taboos surrounding mental health and sexuality, she fearlessly and authentically embarked on this entrepreneurial journey.

Her innovative and inclusive approach rapidly resonated with a diverse clientele, predominantly consisting of individuals aged 25 to 35 who felt underrepresented by conventional sex therapists. At this juncture, Kanica understood the need to expand her team to meet the burgeoning demand. She likened her situation to that of a restaurant unable to accommodate all its patrons, prompting her decision to enlarge her team to cater to more individuals seeking support.

An entrepreneurial vision that aligns with her values.

Kanica's business is founded upon values that are profoundly ingrained in her character. Dynamism, emotional courage, authenticity, and excellence serve as the bedrock of her company, and these same personal values steer her decision-making as a leader. She perceives her team as an extension of her influence on the world, with each member actively contributing to the company's overarching mission.

Kanica envisions a future where sexology is rightfully acknowledged for its significant value, extending well beyond the confines of sexuality itself.

In addition to her business, Kanica hosts a podcast titled "Le Sofa Sexologique," where she offers valuable insights on essential sexology-related subjects to individuals aged 15 to 65 in Quebec.

Kanica personifies a formidable force for change and serves as an inspirational role model for those willing to challenge conventional norms to pursue their passions and callings. Her unwavering determination, profound authenticity, and forward-thinking vision mark her as an exceptional entrepreneur and a genuine trailblazer in the realm of contemporary sexology.
