There's a lot of change going on at the JCCM! With our redesigned visual identity and reinvented website, we wanted to offer our JCCM+ and JCCM members a tool to better connect with each other and expand their network!
The Community Space uses Braindate, a platform that allows you to create one-on-one or small group meetings for the purpose of discussing specific topics or making new connections! So, a Braindate is essentially a planned meeting between people who want to meet or discuss a particular subject.
To do this, log in to your Member Area to update your information:
➞ Click on reset password ;
➞ Click on the link received in the automatic e-mail.
How do I activate the Community Area? It's easy! :
Braindates are not presentations. They are conversations that arise from a common interest! Have you been captivated by a recent article on artificial intelligence? Would you like to learn more about the energy transition or discuss the latest film? Discuss it over a braindate!
Whether it's a one-to-one or a group conversation, keep in mind the following 4 tips for leading a conversation that's enriching for everyone involved:
Make sure everyone introduces themselves and contributes to the discussion;
Ask participants why the topic has interested them;
Be transparent and honest about your own experience in relation to the topic: you don't have to be an expert to lead a brainstorming session;
Don't forget to share your contact details. Many great relationships begin with a simple conversation!
Please note that group braindates (more than 2 people) cannot be organized at any time of day or night! Time slots have been predetermined to allow you to connect simultaneously on the Community Space, making exchanges easier.
The time slots available are as follows:
Monday to Friday - 8am to 10am
Monday to Friday - 12pm to 2pm
Monday to Friday - 5pm to 7pm
It's so easy! You can meet people via the braindates you're taking part in, or search for a particular profile via your "People" feed. If a profile interests you, you can invite them directly to a Braindate!
Any questions? We're here to help!
Got questions about how to use the platform? We can help! On September 20, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., the JCCM will present a training session on its functionalities and best practices directly on the Community Space.
Don't miss it!
