An expert in talent acquisition and sourcing at Sourcinc, Cassandra Quirion-Bélisle supports organizations with their strategic recruitment challenges.

The firm specializes in finding talent for executive, professional, and technical positions in a variety of industries. Using a proactive and targeted approach, Cassandra and her team identify high-potential candidates and connect the right people with the right opportunities.

This approach allows organizations to quickly fill key positions with profiles that align with their business challenges and growth objectives.

Making a real impact through talent

What Cassandra loves about her work is the opportunity to have a real impact on the people and organizations she supports.

Whether it's through her recruitment assignments with clients or her support for candidates, she finds it particularly rewarding to contribute to professional encounters that can transform a career path or help an organization meet a strategic talent challenge.

This same desire to make an impact is reflected in her involvement with the JCCM, where she serves as volunteer co-director of the member experience committee.

In this role, she helps promote the organization's mission, activities, and values. She particularly enjoys helping new members take their first steps in the community.

For Cassandra, the JCCM is above all a space for connection, growth, and engagement. If she can help make the experience positive and enriching for members, she considers her role fulfilled.

Inspiring female role models

Throughout her career, Cassandra has worked alongside many inspiring women, both professionally and personally: ambitious women who have carved out a place for themselves in the business world and paved the way for others, as well as everyday leaders known for their kindness and resilience.

Having worked in predominantly female environments, these role models have had a profound impact on her career.

“Through my contact with them, I learned courage, confidence, and the importance of asserting oneself while remaining true to one's values.”

For Cassandra, every woman can be a source of inspiration through the impact she has on her environment.

An inspiring Montreal company

Among the women-owned businesses she admires in Montreal, Cassandra highlights PONY, the brand founded by visual artist Gabrielle Laïla Tittley

Through her clothing, accessories, and illustrations, the artist offers a pop, colorful, and bold universe that promotes messages of acceptance, inclusivity, and self-love, always with a touch of humor.

Cassandra particularly admires her ability to transform her creativity into a strong and meaningful business.

A message to young professional women

Cassandra has a clear message for young professional women in Montreal who want to advance their careers: live life to the fullest!

She encourages women to step outside their comfort zone, take on challenges, and make their voices heard. Every journey is unique and deserves to be valued.

It's also important to recognize your achievements, big or small, and take the time to celebrate them.

The challenges women face in the business world

According to Cassandra, one of the biggest challenges for women in business today is not limiting themselves to being visible.

It is essential to be able to make your voice heard, gain access to positions of influence, and participate in strategic decisions, particularly in emerging sectors such as digital technology and artificial intelligence.

Although significant progress has been made, she believes that efforts are still needed to transform certain organizational cultures and promote more equitable advancement.

Proud of how far we've come

Today, Cassandra says she is proud of the woman she has become. She has learned to recognize the value of her unique journey, shaped by encounters, lessons learned, and experiences, including mistakes.

One piece of professional advice still guides her today: stay curious. Recognizing that you don't know everything, remaining humble, and learning from others is, in her opinion, essential to continuing to grow.

Step outside your comfort zone

By daring to step outside her comfort zone, Cassandra realized something essential: everything doesn't have to be perfect in order to take action.

In her opinion, moving forward, even imperfectly, is always better than standing still.

Inspiration and balance

Among her favorite places in Montreal to reflect, work, or recharge, Cassandra mentions Café Velours in the Villeray neighborhood, a welcoming spot where she has spent many hours working, studying, and chatting.

To stay connected to world news, she recommends Hugo Décrypte and Le Monde, which allow you to catch up on the latest developments in just a few minutes.

In her daily life, she also strives to maintain balance through simple habits: staying hydrated, eating a balanced diet, and exercising. Having recently reintroduced exercise into her routine, she is already seeing the benefits.
