Young Administrators Network

The Young Administrators Network program enables young business people to understand the role of administrator on a board of directors, to prepare to sit on or better contribute to the board of directors of a non-profit organization (NPO).

Promoted by the JCCM and Concertation Montréal, in collaboration with the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés (CAS) at Laval University, the Young Administrators Network (RJA) program enables young business people to understand the role of a board administrator, prepare to serve on or better contribute to the board of directors of a non-profit organization (NPO).

Each cohort, two per year, is composed of about 20 participants.

Course of events

The RJA program is structured as follows:

  • 2 hours of virtual classes and simulation preparation
  • 2 days of in-person classes (Friday, November 7, and Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) covering 4 training modules:
    • Legal
    • Governance
    • Financial resources
    • Strategy
  • 1 board meeting simulation
  • 1 networking event with organizations seeking directors at the end of the program (optional)


At the end of this program, you will receive a certificate of completion (conditional on attendance at both training days).

Practical Informations

The Young Administrators Network training course is offered twice a year: once in the fall and once in the winter. Sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media to be notified when the next registration period opens.

You will receive a PDF certificate after the training, which is useful for your records. Several professional orders recognize our governance training courses. Keep your certificate for future reference and contact your professional order if you have any questions. At the Barreau du Québec, our training courses comply with the Regulation respecting the continuing professional development of lawyers.

Enrollment process

  • The deadline to register for the fall cohort is October 9, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. or until all spots are filled.
  • You must log in to your account to pay the special JCCM and JCCM+ member prices.
  • After registering, you will receive an information form to fill out from the JCCM training manager.
